We all know that success leaves clues. We do not have to invent the wheels. We can just model successful people for what they do on a daily basis. You can find them everywhere nowadays,YouTube, Google, and by reading their books. 

I have been studying the habits of millionaire’s for a while. Millionaires come from all walks of life, but one thing they all have in common is that they all have their daily routines. 

I have created and followed my daily routine faithfully since 2020. The results are stunning. I am much happier, confident, richer, and feel fulfilled more than ever before. 

If you are busy like most people, juggling between career, family, and personal achievement, you must develop this habit to help you stay on track. 

Like most of you out there, I am wearing many different hats on my head. I am a mother, a wife, a business owner, a blogger, a Youtuber, a writer, and a high achiever coach. 

How on earth could I handle the workload and go full speed toward my goal every day without being burnt out?

The answer is I follow my daily routine. In other words, I plan out my day ahead of time. I do not have to waste any of my brain power to think about what I should do on a daily basis. 

How to plan your day toward your goals?

First of all, you have to know your mission and purpose. 

I am passionate about what I do. I know my mission and purpose for the rest of my life. I am going to use my talents, knowledge, and voice to serve, educate, uplift, and transform people’s lives to become the best version of themselves. I want to make a positive impact on the world. Everything I do will be around my purpose. 

You have to understand yourself.

Beside your mission and purpose , you also have to know your interests?

What is your superpower?

What can bring you joy and happiness when you do those things?

Once you know your superpower, the next step is to find ways to monetize your superpower. 

For me, I love writing. I have been writing my Chinese blog for many years. It started just for fun and for making friends online. 

But I finally realized that I could not continue to contribute my time and knowledge for free forever. That’s how I began to publish books on Amazon. I published 3 books in 2020, 2 more books this year, and 3 of them were bestselling books on Amazon during launch weeks.

From there, people started contacting me for help with their books to publish on Amazon.

Another interest of mine is that I love doodling. It can bring me relaxation and joy. I had the idea that my doodling activities were a waste of time. 

I started to ask myself how I could monetize my doodling interests.

As a result, I published a bestselling coloring book on Amazon and listed it on my Etsy store as well. I am excited to work on another content book and coloring book right now. 

Why are so many hard working , smart, talented people out there dead broke with myself included for many years. 

One reason is that nobody told us we could make money by doing what we are good at and love. 

School never taught us how to monetize our talents. They only know how to shove a bunch of knowledge into our brain but no one told us that we could become a millionaire in five years. 

Instead, they told everyone that you needed to go to college and find a job and stay in the rat race forever. 

No, I don’t want to live this type of life. I do not want my two sons to live this kind of life. That’s why I had stopped checking their report cards since they were in middle school. 

Grades do not mean anything for your happiness and success in life, unless you know exactly what you want for life. 

Your scorecard in school cannot guarantee any financial success in real life, but your skills in monetizing your talents can. 

As a parent, if you are not careful and understanding of the reason for their grades, you might get into a nasty war in your relationship and miss out on helping your children find out their true interests.

To me, this is not a small thing. It may result in unknowingly destroying a child’s creativity and bright future. If this were to happen to everyone, we would all have missed out on the next Thomas Edison, Jeff bezos , Elon Musk and countless other geniuses for our future. 

Second routine, 

Find your most important tasks toward your goals and dreams. 

Do them every day. 

Human brains love repetition. If you plan your day with a similar routine, you are setting yourself up for success from the first second of your day. You will have much less anxiety and stress. You are going to have a much higher chance of sticking with your routine for a very long time.

My daily routine includes my big there. They are exercise, writing and speaking practice. 

Third routine,

Get enough sleep every day

Scientists have shown countless evidence about the benefits of a good night’s sleep. You are going to have a much clearer mind to do your work the next day. You cannot make up the damage a lack of sleep causes.

Fourth routine ,

Drink enough water

I drink at least 24 oz of water every morning after getting up. Your body contains approximately 75% water. You need to hydrate your body and your brain first thing in the morning. Your body can clean up all the toxins and waste from a night of sleep. 

Fifth routine,

Meditate 3 minutes a day

I learned this simple technique from a scientist and the New York Times best-selling author Gragg Braden recently. You only need 3 minutes a day to sit quietly with yourself, focusing on your breathing. Counting 6 in and 8 exhales and think with gratitude to appreciate everything around you, the weather, the air, your family, even your challenges. 

This 3 minutes of quiet time can help you connect your heart and brain to a higher level. It can help you reduce stress and worries. It will help you increase your daily productivity dramatically.
